TAI Engineering is Hiring a Warehouse Supervisor (2) Near Garland, TX
These individuals will supervise and control activities of the production process and guarantee that they are executed within the defined standards processes, in order to ensure the accomplishment of the production and quality and storage targets.
Responsibilities:
- Guarantee the integrity of all the goods that are moved through and in/out of the warehouse.
- Report to the Direct Manager all issues related to health, safety, and environment. (Examples: Chemical and/or Liquid Spills, leaks in machinery/equipment, Fire risks, Integrity of Racking System, etc.).
- Plan and Coordinate all operative resources of the Warehouse (Staff & Machinery).
- Control and administer resources in order to guarantee the inventory accuracy of the whole site.
- Knowledge of the Department Budget in order to administer resources effectively.
- Lead the team to help on cycle counting efforts to analyze root causes on discrepancies.
- Promote a 5S & Continuous Improvement culture.
- Communicate and follow up with the team all topics related to achieving department and site goals.
- Stop material supply to Production lines in case of:
- Security/Safety/Health risk detection during operation.
- Material Integrity Risk Detection
- Generate, Review and Improve Warehouse Management Processes, while educating the team in such processes.
- Five or more years of experience in:
- supervising logistics
- production control
- personnel management
- Forklift Certification
- Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes.
- Proven analytical competences.
- Proven record on hiring and training employees.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Package.
- FIFO System.
- Material handling documentation process.
- SAP system.
